The GD530 from Beetel is loaded with features to the brim. The front panel of the device sports a 2.4 inch TFT color touch screen.

The square shaped D-Pad along with control keys and a full QWERTY keypad follows the screen. It is flanked by three keys on each side. Two separate calling keys along with menu button have been placed on left hand side while the right side hosts the call end cum power key, back key and shortcut key for Beetel’s push mail service. Shortcuts for FM, Games, SMS inbox, Calendar, Music and Video player, Media gallery, etc. have been provide for ease of access.

The buttons have rubberized finish, making them quite comfortable. The side panels are stylishly highlighted by the metal strips. The right panel hosts a 2.5 inch audio jack, along with volume rocker cum music shortcut keys and a multipurpose USB charging slot.

The camera placed in the upper of the back cover. It is a stylish phone and to compliment the looks, the UI has also been ramped up with cool 3D transitions.

The Beetel QWERTY offering comes armed with an array of features like a 2.0 mega pixel of camera, FM player with telescopic antenna and audio/video player. The maximum resolution can be set at 1600 x 1200 pixels. You can also record videos in MPEG4 formats and quality of videos is also acceptable.

The music player supports playback of almost all popular music formats like MP3, WAC, AAC etc. it can be accessed directly from the short cut given on the keypad itself.

FM Radio comes with an external telescopic antenna. You can store up to 30 channels also do scheduled FM recording as well. The hand set comes loaded with ‘Beetel Mail’ push mail service. Configuring it is easy and a quick registration takes you through the application.

Other application include Yahoo app suite, FaceBook and other SNS Applications. The device has WiFi, GPRS and Bluetooth connectivity. Although GD530 supports dual GSM Networks, only one SIM is active during the call and other appears unreachable.

Internal memory 60MB, you can extend external up to 4 GB through micro SD card.

The device has li-ion battery rated at 1000 mAh powers the device and lasted us almost a day of average usage.
