TAIPEI : HTC Corp Promised Competitive new models next year and said it would stick to its strategy in the face of its biggest challenge since rising to prominence in the smartphone market. HTC has become the worst performer among global smartphone shares this year, falling over 30 percent in the last eight sessions alone, as investors worried it may have lost the innovative touch that propelled it from contract maker to must-have brand in only a few years .Those concerns heightened last week when HTC surprisingly cut its revenue forecast for the fourth quarter to no growth ,shocking a market used to double-digit growth rates from the maker of the Desire, sensation and Wildfire models. But the company says it is not another Nokia ,the Finnish mobile maker which has experienced a rapid fall from market dominance and should not be categorized as such “I don’t think its so serious, “Chief Financial Officer Winston Yung told Reuters.” We have six quarters of improvement, the most conservative guidance is 45 million units of shipments this year, a lot higher than 25 million last year “, he said. “We will focus on the product next year, better and more competitive. Other than new LTE phones for the US market, We also have phones for the global market. We will launch some worldwide flagship products. We are confident in them”

Aside from stiff Competition from Apple inc’s iPhones and samsung Electronics Galaxy line-up, HTC also faces legal challenges over patents from Apple and others. German patent firm IP-Com said on Friday it plans to halt as quickly as possible the sale of all HTC smartphones in Germany, after HTC pulled an appeal against the ruling.

HTC the leading mobile company, now introducing another Smartphone on this November 20th, in a part HTC introducing Titan with the name of new Smartphone. Titan … it just name is cool. It is also cool phone because its 4.7 screen, the second largest Smartphone screen [Galaxy Note has a 5.3 Inch].

HTC Titan is available at AT&T stores on 20th November onwards with the costs $200, around 2 years of contract. HTC Titan goes on sale just in time for Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year. At that price, it will be competing against the high-end devices that generate even more fanfare. They have name recognition and plenty of marketing firepower.

The HTC Titan features and specifications: Titan has WVGA Super LCD screen, an eight-megapixel camera, 16 gigabytes of on board storage and a 1.5GHz processor to run the Windows Phone 7.5 operating system. The huge display should look very good even at the 800.x 400 resolution used by some smaller screens, but to power a screen that big it will need lots of battery life. HTC Titan battery gives six and a half hours of good talk time. The HTC Titan has a huge screen; it’s a good for gamers.

If you’ve never heard of the software Titan is running, you’re not alone because the Windows Phone system has only been around since last year, and Titan runs an even newer version than that.

The system has its own Application Market place and focuses on integrating applications, email and social media into the home screen.
