The development comes after the firm unveiled its new policies in Hong Kong and Beijing, following its nearly three-week block on iPhone 4S sales at stores in China.

“If you pay today, you might get the items tomorrow, and no later than March 2,” said an Apple sales staff.

Due to heavy rush of customers at stores, Apple had suspended direct sales of the phone after its launch Jan 13 in the country, China Daily reported.

According to a news report in 9to5mac, the seller of these “iPad 2S” cases claims that its cases fit a design that is 1mm thicker than the iPad 2′s form-factor. The case maker is said to claim that this design knowledge is based on his sources within Apple’s supply chain.

Apple’s next iPad is expected to go on sale in March. The next-generation iPad is speculated to sport a high-definition screen, run a faster processor and work with next-generation wireless networks.
